             Another very manageable and important source of internet income is paid surveys.  Before the internet became common throughout the world, gathering market research was much tougher.  Often, businesses or marketing companies would need to use direct mail or in-person interviewers to gather statistical data.  You may remember the days when research employees would walk around the mall asking people if they would like to take a quick survey.  These ways of gathering data are quite expensive and take a long time to gather a large pool of data.  The advent of the internet has allowed researchers to use only a fraction of the time and money to gather even more date than ever before.

                They are many survey facilitation and market research companies for which you can complete surveys for cash or generally gift certificates.  Before delving into this, you should realize what exactly is involved in competing s survey.  You may get and email, or find on a website, a survey stating that you will get $3 for completing it; it should only take 10-15 minutes.  All of these surveys must be qualified for.  In some cases, these surveys are targeted at very specific groups of people, such as Asian women between the ages of 35-50.  There is a good chance you don’t fall into that particular category.  Sometimes you can tell what conditions might be necessary for qualifying for a survey by reading the description of it in the email or website where you found it.
