Free internet services

                Back in the day, there were tons of legitimate, yet sometimes slow are very advertisement-heavy, free internet services.  They number much fewer now, but you can still find them.  All of them are for free dial-up, narrowband service. 

1. Dialup for Free – (http://www.dialupforfree.com/)  For United States only.  This is a very basic service with speed up to 56K.
   
   

2. CDotFree – (http://cdotfree.com/)  For Canada only; has a list of Access Areas on their webpage.  Only local number for some areas.  No usage timer.
   
   

3. FreeDialup.org – (http://www.freedialup.org/)  A free dialup service with some restrictions: blocks SMTP access, blocks newsgroup access, must have Caller ID service.  Only valid in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and southern Florida.
