Free fax services

Generally, these services allow you to send a fax for free or receive a fax for free but not both.  Combine services to create a two-way free fax service.

  1. FaxZero – (http://www.faxzero.com/)  Allows up to 3 faxes sent per day.  The only problem is that they put an advertisement on the cover page, so it might not always be appropriate for business or important faxes.  Handles United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

  2. GotFreeFax.com – (http://www.gotfreefax.com/)  Allows up to 3 pages sent per day.  Supports the U.S continental 48 states, Canada, and Hawaii only (sorry, Alaska).  There are no ads or logos on any page.  Send faxes only.

  3. K7 Unified Messaging – (http://www.k7.net/)  K7 can be used to receive faxes only.  You should read their FAQ before proceeding.  Will give you a 206 (Seattle, WA) area code only.

  4. eFax Free – (http://www.efax.com/efax-free)  This service allows you to receive faxes via the internet without the need for a fax machine.  No free faxes can be sent.
