Amazon.com Marketplace Item Listing Basics: Is it really that easy?
Amazon.com has implemented a very streamlined system for sellers to list items. Unlike online auction sites, your listing piggybacks on the existing Amazon.com sales infrastructure, which is very efficient and attracts many customers. The additional incentive is the low price you are offering for a particular item. You are basically utilizing the good will that the Amazon.com brand name has established.
With that being said, listing your item is a breeze. There are three short pages to go through per item: one to choose what item to list and to indicate its condition, one to select a price and shipping service, and the last simply to submit the listing. The listing process takes literally a few seconds. There is no need to submit an item description or customize the listing any further.

Product listing requires you to select and describe an item's condition.
You
must enter a price. Don't worry about the Amazon.com price; always
list it lower than the top marketplace price unless it is under $1.

You can select shipping services to accept. Select Expedited and
International shipping also to boost profit margins.

On the final page you will submit your listing. It also tells you
how much in profit you can expect to receive for the item.
